This is really cute, and I have this pattern as a Featured Pattern of the Month in my Amigurumi Swaps and More group.
Hello,
I don't know if i've just missed it but did you tell us how to make the tail?
Many thanks!
Hi, thanks for your comment! Chain 24(or desired length) Attach to back of body.
I don't understand the directions for the ears. Rnd 2:2sc in each of next 2 stiches then 2 sc in nextsc (ok that's 6 sc)repeat around (3 stiches left. That would be 12 sc) Total of 9 stitches (no 12)
Rnd 3: 3 sc in next 3 stitches (that's 9)then 2 sc in next stitch (that's 11) repeat around for total of 12 stitches.
What's the difference between a stitch and a sc?
Leg: Rnd3 - 4 sc around (Is that 4 sc in each sc for a total of 48?)
Hi Caroline,
I know it has been a while since you were on here. Guess you moved to Facebook or someplace else.
I had a couple of questions about this pattern.
First, on the Body:
It says - rd.7-16 sc around
Is that decrease to 16 sc around or rds. 7-16?
If it is rds. 7-16 should the next direction be rd. 17 not rd. 8?
Second, on the Legs:
It says - rd. 2 sc in each sc around(12sc)
Should it be - rd. 2: 2 sc in each sc around(12sc)
It says - rd.3-4sc around
Should it be – rd.3: 4 sc around (leave remaining stitches unworked) or is it – rd.3: decrease every 3 st. to 1 sc (4sc)
Third, on the Ears:
It says
– rd. 2 2 sc in each of next 2 stitches then 2sc in next sc; repeat around (9sc)
– rd. 3 3 sc in each of next 3 stitches then 2sc in next stitch repeat around(12sc)
– rd. 4-5 sc around
– rd. 6 sc dec in every stitch around (6sc)
– whipstitch close; pinch slightly at bottom and take a stich to secure so the ear remains puckered.
Should it be:
rd. 2: sc in each of the next 2 stitches, 2sc in the next stitch; repeat around (9sc)
rd. 3: sc in each of the next 3 stitches, 2sc in the next stitch; repeat around (12sc)
rds. 4-5: sc evenly around
rd. 6: sc2tog around (6sc)
‘- fold flat and whipstitch 6 final stitches together as a seam; pull outer edge of 1st and 3rd stitches together to pucker ear.
Thanks for any help you can give,
Pallie
