H1N1 is here!!!!

Look at this poor lil guy. I think H1N1 has hit our house, so far DH, Devin, and now Trenton all have flu-like symptoms. They all started with a low-grade temp. that spikes in a day or two, cold -symptoms, and aches and pains. They are all pretty miserable. Keep your fingers crossed that I come out unscathed. I've got people coming from the Kansas State Dept. of Education to observe me on Monday in class because they want to see an immersion program in action. Whew, I'll be glad when that's over!!!

Oh no! I hope everyone feels well soon and you don't come down with something.

I'm sick too, but its not the flu. Just a cold it seems. I'm still unsure whether or not to give my daughter the H1N1 flu shot. Seems so scary since its so new.

awe poor little guy......is he feeling better now? I sure hope it doesn't hit here.....both boys had the flu shots, but no H1N1 yet.

Ah, he looks so miserable. I hope he, Trenton, and DH feel better soon. Hunter had strep throat last week with fever up to 103.5. She kinda had that same miserable look as Devin. I'm putting hexes right now on that nasty bug, so it will leave the rest of you unscathed.

H1N1 seems to be rampant here in OKC. Hunter has 800+ kids in her school, and one day last week, 368 kids were out. It's scary since it's not really even flu season yet. :(

I've been coding ER charts from a small farming community in California, and my estimate is that 7 out of 10 charts I code are H1N1 victims. Some of these poor people are having really nasty complications, so keep a close eye on your family.

Oh, and good luck with the Dept. of Education's visit. I feel like you'll get through it with flying colors.
