Drawing with Trenton

Over Labor Day weekend we had some extra time to just laze around and do whatever we wanted. My youngest DS and I pulled out our trusty colored pencils, crayons, and markers and had a drawing fest. Above is a collage of all his work. As you can tell I'm quite proud and I think he may be a chip off the block so to speak. He is very detailed oriented and quite a flair for design. He's only 7!

This one is the one I made for him, he's the biggest Club Penquin fan.

Here is the progress on my Fall Hexagon bag. I only need 7 more before I start assembling.

Have a simply sublime Saturday!

The hexagon bag will be a looker. Your son is riddled with talent. I spotted it with my daughter when she was very young. She was always very observant and would draw details you would not see in a normal drawing for someone her age. Foster his talent and don't feel compelled to throw him into classes as it's a natural talent and just make him aware of options and let him decide...it works. Look at that one race car with all of the shading and details!

You've made such quick progress with that bag! I'm such a slacker in comparison!

Trenton is a great artist... his skills surpass mine by alot!

Drawing is just as relaxing as crochet, if not more don't you think. Love the drawings and all the color is just jumping off the page, I love it.

Thanks for visiting me. Remember to let me know if you want me to include you in the drawing for the Punkin' Pooch.

I love your hexagons - they're so bright and colorful. I have a bunch of them that I was going to make into an afghan, but I may do something smaller with them, like maybe a lap blanket (for people in wheelchairs) or a pillow...

I will come back and visit later. I'm crocheting another punkin' critter, only this time a mouse ;-)

Have a nice evening,

p.s. sometimes my Google sign in doesn't work and I have to post anonymously!
